At-Bristol Science Centre (www.at-bristol.org.uk) Effective of 01/07/2010: Special discounted Home Eductor rates for admission to At-Bristol are available during Mon-Fri term time. These rates are defined as our 'Education Rates' (the same rates charged to mainstream schools and groups). During term time, Mon-Fri, the rates are £4.45 for an adult, £4.45 for a child. Outside of this period, the normal rates of admission apply. Please note: Home Eductors must provide valid proof to be eligible for these rates; a letter from the LEA or evidence of membership to a home educators' organsiation. We recognise that this may not be possible for all families, in which case At-Bristol must be contacted in advance of the visit. A Manager will be happy to discuss this with you. For families wishing to benefit from these reduced rates throughout the year, our concessionary memebership package is a great option. Membership for 1 year: Adult Concession £27 Child Concession (3-15 years) £15 Joint concession (two people living at the same address) £38 Becoming a member of At-Bristol has a whole host of benefits; not only are you helping support our educational work, but you also get the opportunity to visit whenever you like! Members' benefits include: Unlimited free entry to At-Bristol and the Planetarium 10% discount in the At-Bristol shop 10% discount in the At-Bristol café Quarterly members newsletter, Update Members-only special Planetarium shows with Q&A Members-only previews to new exhibitions in At-Bristol Invitations to exclusive members' events Free entry to over 250 science centres worldwide through ASTC (Association of Science and Technology Centres) Again valid proof is required (see above). It's another person who manages the BHE web site, will try and get in touch with them to update the details. They have already been updated on this BHE forum in the 'What's On'.
